The 269 gold medals up for grabs spanned a wide array of sports, including Archery, Artistic and Rhythmic Gymnastics, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Diving, Fencing, Judo, Swimming, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Tennis, Volleyball, Water Polo, Rowing, Sport Shooting, and Wushu.
